SHORT-TERM RENTAL

Photos are your listing's shop window

On Airbnb and Booking.com a guest sees one thumbnail among dozens. That single image decides whether they click. Not the location, not the price — the photo.

And unlike a property sale, the benefit repeats. Better photos lift both your booking rate and the nightly price you can defend, every month, for years.

The maths is simple: a 270 € shoot that adds 15 € to your nightly rate pays for itself in under three weeks of occupancy. Everything after that is profit.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF SHOOT

Selling a home and renting a night are not the same job

A sales photo documents a space. A rental photo sells a stay. So we shoot differently: the light on the terrace at the right hour, the table set for breakfast, the view from the bed, the detail that makes someone imagine themselves there.

Bright, calm, generous with space — a Nordic eye applied to Riviera apartments. The result is a listing that feels like somewhere you want to wake up, not a floor plan with furniture.

Which photos a listing needs, and what to leave out, is covered in our guide Airbnb photos in Nice.

For conciergeries and property managers

If you manage twenty, fifty or a hundred listings on the Riviera, inconsistent photography is a quiet cost. Every property shot by a different freelancer means a portfolio that looks assembled rather than curated — and owners notice.

We work the other way: one photographer, one visual standard, across every property you manage. New listing onboarded? Same look, same turnaround, same person. A volume rate applies from the first regular booking, and invoicing can be consolidated monthly.

Frequently asked questions

How many photos does an Airbnb listing need?

Airbnb recommends at least 20. We deliver 20 to 40 depending on the size of the property, covering every room, the outdoor space and the details that sell the stay.

How much does an Airbnb photographer cost, and is there a travel fee?

From 180 € for a studio, 240 € for a one-bedroom and 340 € for a villa up to 200 m². There is no travel supplement within 10 km of the centre of Nice, Monaco, Menton, Cannes or Antibes. Between 10 and 25 km it is a fixed +30 €, and between 25 and 40 km +60 €. You choose the band when you book and the price is final.

Can I use the photos on Booking.com and elsewhere?

Yes. Usage rights are unrestricted — Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, your own website and social media, at no extra cost.

Do you offer twilight photos?

Yes, from 120 € as an add-on. The exterior, terrace and view are shot at blue hour just after sunset, with the interior lights glowing against a deep blue sky. For a Riviera short-term rental it is usually the single best-performing photo in the whole set.

How should I prepare the property?

Prepare it as if welcoming your best guest: spotless, beds made, towels folded, surfaces clear, curtains open. Small touches read strongly in photos — fresh flowers, a set table, a made-up terrace.

Do you shoot the pool, terrace and sea view?

Always. On the Riviera the outdoor space and the view are often the reason a guest books, so they get as much attention as the interior.

Which language do you work in?

Shoots and calls are in English, which suits most Riviera hosts — a large share are international owners managing the property remotely. You can write to us in English or French. Since every price is published and the booking happens online, you can arrange a shoot from another country without a phone call.

Do you work with conciergeries?

Yes, and it is a large part of what we do. Property managers get 15% below the public price, priority scheduling and the same photographer across every property, with monthly consolidated invoicing.

How do I request a photographer through Airbnb?

Airbnb runs its own photography programme in some cities, on its own terms and schedule, and the use of those photos is governed by Airbnb. With Nordblikk you book online for the date you choose, the price is fixed and shown before you pay, and the photos are yours for every channel: Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and your own website.
